Welcome to the corps!

Welcome

Well E3 has come and gone and once again left an equal supply of gamers both happy/disappointed.   Sony fans (the really DIE HARD ones) are throwing some serious fits over the lack of JRPG and RPG's and the loss of at least one exclusive.  That doesn't mean they are having second thoughts but it sure has made them speak out.  It also doesn't mean Sony doesn't have a ton of Exclusives in the works and they believe that arsenal will be more than enough to make up for any loss those gamers are feeling. E3 did have a bunch of great preview videos and I'll be working to get them up pretty quickly.  First will be a Fallout 3 video in HD and next I'll be providing coverage of Sacred 2 for PC and next-gen consoles.   Until I can find some more writers I'm afraid I'll just have to take it a few at a time but trust me there is more to come.

For those of you who missed all the E3 coverage and wondered what changes to expect to your console I've got the lowdown.  Microsoft revealed it's new partnership with Netflix to bring that service to your new dashboard experience allowing you to  stream videos to your 360.  They also announced their new dashboard makeover which will allow characters to create virtual avatars to represent them in the community rather than a gamercard an they changed the look of the dashboard.  These changes should come sometime before Christmas.   Sony just opened it's new video store where movies are available for rent or in some cases for purchase.  They have rentals available in HD but that doesn't matter because the SD copies look great enough.  The XMB for the Playstation 3 also got an update recently allowing gamers access while in games for sending and receiving messages without having to leave a game, it also added support for trophies for some games and it said that more will be adding the support in future updates.

Keep watching the site's Previews and Articles sections to see those photos and videos of some of the hottest games that are due out soon.

Check Out The Corps Store!!  I was at Amazon.com the other day looking for a game and as I was paying for it I thought about how good a deal it was and wondered how much customers of retail outlets were paying even those who bought used copies from retailers and decided to look.  The difference in most cases from Amazon to the store on the games I checked was between $5-$10, in some cases it was only a dollar or two but more often than not it was more.  So I decided to do the shopping for you and find the best deals on games, consoles and accessories from Amazon and put them right here on the website.  You can find anything on there right down to the HDTV.  Just visit the Corps Store by visiting the link at the top.
